SOAR: Play + Pray
This year at SOAR we are introducing a new rhythm for our evening gatherings that we believe will create space for both joy and spiritual depth. Instead of our traditional “Village” format, we are moving into two intentional experiences called Play and Pray.
These moments are designed to help students experience both sides of discipleship: healthy community and joyful connection, and deep spiritual hunger for what God wants to do in their generation.
Wednesday Night: Play
Wednesday night will be dedicated entirely to Play.
The purpose of this night is simple. We want students to laugh together, build friendships, and release the energy that comes with a full evening of teaching and breakout sessions. Some of the most meaningful connections between students happen in moments like these. Play is not just entertainment, it is community building.
SOAR Student Conference will cover the cost for the first 750 registered students to receive a Play Night package that includes 2 hours of bowling, a $40 arcade card, and 2 VR Entitlement tickets.
If your group registers after the first 750 spots are filled—or if adult sponsors would like to participate as well—additional entertainment packages can be purchased directly through Main Event.

Thursday Night: Pray
Thursday night will take a very different tone. This gathering will be centered around prayer and spiritual hunger for revival among the next generation.
Across the country there are growing pockets of students who are becoming deeply hungry for God. Many are asking big questions about what revival could look like in their schools, churches, and cities.
This session will help students lean into that moment.
Jordan Bowen and Tyler Sellers will lead this gathering by speaking to students about what it means to cultivate a heart and an environment ready for revival. They will challenge students to think about how they can return home and begin creating fertile ground for spiritual awakening in their own communities.
The night will center around the words of Jesus when He declared that His house would be called a house of prayer.
This will not only be a teaching moment. It will also be an active time of worship and prayer where students will have the opportunity to seek God together, pray for their generation, and ask the Lord to move in their schools and cities.
A Shared Experience
In the past, Village nights have been optional. This year we are asking every student and leader attending SOAR to participate in both Play and Pray.
Together these two gatherings reflect what we believe God is calling this generation into: joyful community and passionate pursuit of His presence.
